Drivers) - If I bring a car carrier / tow truck, where do I park?
Same place as always if you've ever been to Mobara.
Please park your car carrier behind the restaurant. There will be space to park any large tow trucks for drivers bringing multiple cars.
Drivers) - How does Damage Insurance work?
Damage Insurance covers up to ¥ 30,000 in track-related damages in the event that you have a collision or accident with the track or guardrails, etc.
Insurance costs ¥1,000 and is offered directly through Mobara Twin Circuit LLC for drivers.
ONLY REGISTERED AND STREET-LEGAL CARS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR DAMAGE INSURANCE. No Drift Missles :(
Show Cars) - Where do I park if I'm a Show Car?
Show car parking will be on the WEST TRACK (GoKart Track) specific details regarding show car parking will be given to show car participants closer to event day.

Show Car) - When is the deadline for show cars?
There is no formal deadline, however, we use a rolling application so when we fill up applications will close. Apply early!
Show Cars) - Who is covered by a Show Car ticket?
Only the driver of the show car is covered by a SHOW CAR ticket. Any other passengers must have a ticket to attend the event whether it be with a SPECTATOR ticket or one of the various driver tickets.
Spectator) - How do Ride-Alongs Work?
*To those new to the culture or those coming independently from a team,*
Ride-alongs will be permitted at this event HOWEVER they are NOT guaranteed by any means. It is completely up to the driver's discretion to allow or deny a ride-along in THEIR car.
DUE TO THE ANTICIPATED ATTENDANCE, DO NOT ASK DRIVERS FOR A RIDE-ALONG, UNLESS YOU HAVE A PRE-EXISTING RELATIONSHIP. PLEASE BE COURTEOUS OF THE DRIVERS.
Drivers are here primarily to practice and enjoy their time as well. Between tires, gas, constant repairs, and upgrades, drifting can be quite costly.
However, ride-alongs WILL be raffled off on event day to selected spectators to ride along with participating drivers. Details regarding this system will be explained on the event day. Safety gear will be given to the selected participants.
Remember It is both the driver's and passenger's responsibility to have the proper safety equipment (helmet, long sleeves, and pants.)
Spectator) - Where does the Spectator Bus depart?
THE ROUND-TRIP SPECTATOR BUS WILL LEAVE FROM KOGAKUIN UNIVERSITY BUS STOP (AN 8-MINUTE WALK FROM SHINJUKU STATION) PROMPTLY AT 10:00 AM. PLEASE ARRIVE 15 MINUTES EARLY TO ALLOW FOR A HEADCOUNT BEFORE DEPARTING.
Spectator) - If I buy a bus ticket, do I need a spectator ticket too?
Yes.
Spectator) - I don't have long pants or long sleeves.

If selected by the ride-along raffle system we will provide you with the necessary gear.
It's always safe just to back an extra set of clothes. ;)
Spectator) - Is there Parking?
Mobara Twin Circuit has a large parking area just upon entering the premises. Parking is free for this event. However, carpooling is recommended if you are a spectator because tolls getting over to Mobara can still be quite expensive.
Spectator) - Can I take Public Transportation?
It takes about 2 hours total to use public transportation if you leave from Shibuya Station. The closest train station to the track is MOBARA STATION (JR Line). From there you will take a 15-minute bus ride to the track.
We recommend taking a taxi if possible to or from the train station as buses are scarce throughout the day.
All) - I bought a ticket but never received an email
All) - Are minors are welcome at The Clutch Kickback?
16 years old and over.
Younger attendees are welcome with parent or guardian attendance as well.
All) - Can I volunteer for this event?
All) - Can I bring a BBQ and cook like we do at Ebisu?
No. Unfortunately cooking on an open flame is restricted at Mobara Twin Circuit unless you are an approved food vendor. For more details about vendors please see the "CONTACT" page.
All) - Are there hotels nearby?
There are two hotels within a 10 minute drive of Mobara Twin Circuit. There are many other hotels along the eastern coastline, home to the recreational beaches of Chiba. These hotels and homestays are a 20 to 30 minute drive from the track and are usually cheaper.
All) - What if it rains?
We drift in the snow. Rain = Less money spent on tires!
There are covered areas in the restaurant and grandstands. Rain will not severely affect the event.
Gridlife?
Definitely inspired by Gridlife, but we do it a little differently.
